Jams are kid-friendly (accompanied by legal guardians) from 7pm to about 9pm. After that, we kind of become a bad influence what with the potty mouth and the questionable taste and stuff...

What is the Monkeytown Comix Jam?
A collaborative gathering of cartoonists & doodlers passing around comix pages. Everyone contributes a panel of words, drawings or both until the page is full! Pages are posted to our blog, and headed for possible publication in a Jam book!

Monkeytown Jammers update!

Monkeytown Comix Jammer Brian Roy out sketching despite the wind, rain, bird crap, molesting-squirrels, mutant bumblebees, nosy photographers!

Monkeytown Comix Jammer Jesse Jacobs didn't take home any awards last week...he lost out to equally amazing Halifax-inkster Kate Beacon. Still, a nomination is nothing to sneeze at surely rumours of book-deals are in Jesse's not to distant future. Let us know if you hear anything!
